Scardy Cat and Dog!

Recently Chris decided to purchase the DVD "Ghost Busters" so we could have it for Halloween time...it's a classic right? When it came in the mail he wanted all of us to watch it. After arguing for days that it was too scary for Madison to watch he finally put it in last night and proceeded to watch it...against my wishes! Well, as predicted Madison was scared to go to bed and Chris ended up sleeping in her bed while she slept in my bed with me. I warned him, and I wasn't about to sleep in her bed when her fear was HIS FAULT!

Well, while everyone was nestled all snug in their beds the power turned off. Sadie (our fierce guard dog...ha ha) is TERRIFIED when the power goes off. Suddenly I feel this poking at the bed and sure enough it was "Sadie the scardy dog" wanting to get in bed with me. So here's the visual...Madison is on one side of me and Sadie is on the other...both scared...Sadie trembling! Chris said that the power kept turning on and off which is why Sadie kept behaving strangely. At one point they both got nervous and Madison asked me to snuggle with her and Sadie just pressed herself closer. As the night proceeded Sadie kept pacing up and down the bed...and then, just like Eddie from Frazier, I woke up and she was sitting over my face starring down at me. This went on until five in the morning...so much for a good nights sleep.

It's pretty bad when you have a scared child...but the DOG too! Holy smoke!

HO HO HO!

This afternoon Madison and I made our way to the Provo Towne Center to visit Santa. She was so excited! When he asked her what she wanted for Christmas she timidly whispered "D-rex." However, it didn't take her long to warm up...seconds later she was talking his ear off.
Recently Madison has had a love for dinosaurs. They are her entire world right now. After our visit with the big guy we went to Clare's to buy a gift for her dance party. While I was looking at socks Madison was looking at earrings. Suddenly she got extremely excited and said, "MOM I'VE GOTTA HAVE THESE EARRINGS!" She had found Dinosaur earrings...amazing! They look very much like this little guy.
Yes, I bought them, yes she is wearing them!
Don't know if they will ever come off.

Jumpin' Jacks

Tonight we held Madison's birthday party at Jumpin' Jacks...IT WAS AWESOME! Here are some of the highlights.

She is really into dinosaurs and the first gift she received was "Screecher" she was so excited!
Yep...that's about it. The camera batteries died...bummer deal man.

Earlier today Madison was celebrated at school. Parents were invited to come and read the birthday girls favorite story, answer questions about her and share treats. It was a lot of fun and she loved being the center of attention!

From beginning to end it was a GREAT day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADISON!

Madison turned SEVEN today...I can't believe it! Time has flown by so fast. I'm afraid to blink I might miss something.
Its amazing how much she has learned and grown in the last year. I am so proud of her accomplishments. She is a great reader, amazing in math (once again I question our relation), a dancing diva, and has a bubbly personality. I have loved watching her grow and develop into the smart and beautiful little girl that she is today. Mostly I have loved having a BFF, as well as a ski and dance buddy!
This year I hope that God will bless her with good health as well as the ability to be kind and loving to others. I hope that she continues to excel in school as well as in dance. Finally, I hope she will continue to develop self confidence and always have respect for others.

MILESTONES

YE-HAW!!!! Madison "you are my sunshine...my only sunshine," and I am so proud to be your mom! Thanks for continually making each day full with your bright light!
I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!
